I think this game is the perfect example of how overrated our defense was over the last several years, and how underrated our offense has been (with the exception of last year).
Folks around here insist that defense is what has held together this team since the offense's "steady decline". This game also shows how underrated a QB Casey Clausen was. People here hated him (I dont have the intellectual capacity to understand why). He made good throws IN THE CLUTCH WHEN IT MATTERED MOST! Our porous defense made this game a heck of more difficult than it had to be.
Nevertheless, it was a great game for the fan that doesn't have a dog in the fight.
