Classy Auriemma (daughter)

Has she found a publisher for this book yet? The best writers do more with less. Not critiquing the content; admirable. Such a soliloquy makes it about the storyteller. Yanks.

Why would it be necessary to condense Coach Summitt's impact to less?

Just read it earlier today after seeing it make the internet rounds. Maybe Geno isn't as bad as I thought...nah, he somehow had a classy daughter by accident.

All joking aside, it was an unbelievable piece and a true tribute. The best rivalries in sports are sometimes the ones with nuances of respect behind all the hatred.

Mama Auriemma did a good job of raising her daughter--fortunately, Geno was gone a lot.:)

What a thoughtful, heartfelt tribute to Pat Summitt. And, I love the way she writes.....tangents speckled throughout....'cause that's the way I think. She also nails the feelings I have had about "journalists" snippy blather about nothing important while they're consistent in missing (or ignoring?) what really IS. Her sweetness of spirit is unexpected and usually absent most everywhere one cares to "travel" on the intertubes these days.

Thanks for the link. Great find!
