Classy

What is with the fascination with the word "classy"?

Are we too lazy to say you're a good sport, or you're a loser? Post after Post, classy seems to be the choice.

What's the deal. I don't get it? What makes one "classy". Or how does one lose their "classyness". And how do you decribe ones "classlessness".

All this "classy" talk makes me think about class...in school.

And I am pretty sure LIO wants to get a break from class.

Yup, I was perusing (that is a real word, I heard someone use it) the board and it was mentioned alot, a whole lot.

On message boards "classy" generally refers to a poster (or post) that approaches a sensitive subject (i.e. a terrible loss to THEIR team, a bad season, etc.) in a way that doesn't cause any ill will among posters. It's just a way of showing appreciation for not rubbing salt in the wound, I guess. It's just an internet thing, really.
