I think the biggest difference in this game may have been (and I have never said this about a Tennessee team before)........conditioning. Actually, Clausen was the biggest factor but I think conditioning really did play a big role.

Seriously, could you BELIEVE all those LSU players dropping with CRAMPS???

Maybe they need some Midol.

or maybe that the defense has never played better than they have in teh 4th quarter. have you ever seen defensive play like that before?

I agree, the first half, that silly girl was talking about how winded we were and this and that.

Second half, LSU had players laying on the field everywhere. That's what sustaining some offensive drives will do.

Our team played tough. Like I said in another thread, we have found our identity. Time to build off of this win and dig in.

I agree too. LSU pratices in this all the time yet it was them that had such a hard time with the heat. Also, as a side note. Who is the HD girl on ESPN2. Never seen her before.

Yeah, usually it's our guys limping to the sideline. They talked up how LSU had practiced in the heat this week and how they would outlast. I felt the 1st half was all emotion from the LSU team and it took too much out of them. Our guys played their hearts out when it mattered. This may be the most heart I've seen out of a UT team in years.

What time do you think our guys got up this morning? I am sure it's been a long day for them.

A agree VF. I was thinking the same thing after our first score and the next drive. Holly Rowe's comments about all the steps being taken by LSU (stuff in the water, pouring ice water on legs) made me think we had a real chance.

The fact that LSU hasnt' been able to practice like us showed in the 2nd half.

That's football

haha no doubt. I stoped watching at the first half and just had a friend give me play by play. I actually havent seen tennessee score a touchdown yet this year. I didnt get the uab game untill the second half and I didnt start watching the UT game on T.V. untill near the end of the 2nd quarter. Maybe its one of those things but I am no longer going to watch a ut game for the rest of the year.

I agree!
Id said earlier today, Big Physical play for 4 qtr's. The offense got some drives going that helped rest up that monster D.
