Clay Travis Bashes Texas

"They beat up on the weak and then get their asses kicked or turn tail when someone steps to them. Ask Colt McCoy and Texas about that. The Longhorns quarterback threw for 4 billion yards in his career against the sisters of the poor defenses in the Big 12. He lasted for less than a full quarter against an SEC defense. Yep, the SEC and the Pac-10 would have been the barbed wire to Texas' BCS title dreams."

If they can get away with an easier schedule while still making the BCS, is it their problem, or is it the system's problem?

Good read, with all the hype that Texas has you would think they would have a few more national championships.

As more than three words passed before equating them to, "bullies" or "cowards", it felt sugar-coated.

Very funny. I don't understand how people say that Texas has an easy road though. To me they are only in a slightly better position than a Big East school. IMO, a team that wins its conference championship game would be favored over them. They now have to not only run the table but also hope at least one or maybe two of the top seeds in a CCG gets upset.

If they schedule some good OOC games it won't be that big of a deal. OU has got to play Tennessee in a couple years, maybe Texas will step up and lay out a challenge to a SEC school...They got a rivalry with Arkansas, I bet Bobby Petrino coaches circles around whoever is coaching Texas when they eventually play again.

CT is pretty funny.
Can be a little self serving on the show at times but at least he is an unapolegtic vol

Why is that?...Texas and Miami are 2-2 all time and the only blowout was the 91 game...Texas would crush Miami these days.

Miami and Texas had a common opponent last year in OU. They both had close victories. I wouldn't say Texas would crush Miami.
