I don't care for Clay Travis much these days, but he brings up an interesting point regarding Gus Malzahns seat.

Seems to think Gus could be gone IF he looses to both Georgia and Alabama.

His seat's been hot off and on for a while now. Think it was at the beginning of the year.

I'd be surprised if he was canned, but I suppose not beating Bama and/or making an SEC title since the national championship run a few years ago is enough to oust him.

Man, that would be crazy if Auburn was coach searching along with UF, UT, ARK, and possible A&M.

Nick Saban has been the worst thing for the SEC.

What I'm suprised about is how practically no team has been able to catch up and stay with bama in the SEC- forget other leagues.

Guy's been at Bama for 10 years and you mean to tell me 13 other teams in this league can't catch him or at least be competitive with him?

I think he makes the coaching situation look worse for other teams and thats why we are cycling through these coaches like dirty laundry.

Saban is a great coach but he’s also feasted on some of the worst coaching in SEC history. Best coach he’s had to play annually has probably been Gus. Miles is a buffoon that won a NC with 2 losses. How often does that happen?

I agree. New guy has a big pile to shovel with basketball and other issues. I do think that Gus needs to win Big next yr.

Yeah include softball to the mix -- could be some Title IX lawsuits from the fallout

I mostly agree with that. But Michigan is not feeling that way at the moment. I am just saying that Saban's dominance has really hurt the SEC.
He has. He apparently has so many good players, that there aren't enough to go around for the rest of the expanded 14 team SEC. The talent level is diluted, except for Alabama. If the league had 6 or 8 teams, the others would be better than they are now.

I believe the consensus is Bielema will be back at Arkansas next season. His buyout I believe is 15 million. Wow! I can't believe I typed that.
