Practice starts at the end of next week. Anybody know the deadline for players to be cleared to enter school and play? Can they practice while they are waiting or is it a hands off situation? I think Vladimir Richard is still waiting anybody else?

Vladimir will be a RS freshman this year. He is still out due to an injury he sustained in the spring. I don't know how much time he is supposed to miss. Gerald Williams is the one who is still waiting. He raised his ACT score up enough, but he's still waiting to make it through the clearinghouse.

Let's hope that GW gets in sooner than later because, once he gets in, he will likely be in the 2 deep for DE.

I doubt that. Wes Brown's nickname among the other players is Little Pollack, and Fisher was a five star JC player. McBride still might play DE when Mapu gets back out there. Plus according to his bio he only weighs 225; hopefully he's gained a lot of weight recently. Does anybody know if he has?

When will Walter Fisher be back from his injury?

Wrong Wrong Wrong Wrong and Wrong RockyTop.

1)Wes Brown is stuck as a tweener right now(not big enough for DT, not quick enough for DE)
2)Walter Fisher is injured and may not be able to go until UF
3)McBride will have to play DT for a while because Bolden nor Williams have shown enough to be relied on.
4)Mapu will have to get back in football shape(his body is ready, but a few games will be needed before he is relied on)
5)Williams is up to 245 and running a 4.45 40. He was a beast last year when he was in practice.

Our 2 deep at DE will be Ayers, X Mitchell, Reynolds, and Williams.

You are right, Williams was who I was talking about. Can he practice now while he is waiting?

He practiced while he was waiting the last time. That's when the coaches and people on this board annointed him as the next L. Little even though they've never seen him in full pads.

I would want to see him drive with a BAC of .2 before I anoint him the next Leonard Little.

The university allowed him to do that last year. They may not allow him this go around. I wouldn't call him the next LL. He is much bigger than LL was.
