It's amazing how clemson which hasn't accomplished much lately, pulled a great class last year and is already ranked 5th. They have 6 4 star and 3 3star players. I'm not a star gazer but we have 2 1/2 players commited, and the 1/2 is for the player going to juco first.

I'm not panicing yet, but I thought we would be above vanderbuilt atleast.

They are also not awaiting a verdict from a NCAA investigation. It is a simple as that. Why would you commit when you don't know the punishment for Tennessee yet.

The forum police will be after you in a moment so duck and hide...

On Clemson, I agree, either $$ is out there or Dabo is a master. He was closing on 5stars like crazy while firing coaches on the staff and had security ?? Himself

Not that I'm crying, but at some point you want the attention that they receive, and capitalize on recruits.

Be concerned isnt weak by the way mike. Id rather our program to be proactive rather than reactive.

Plenty of Clemson recruits all over the internet posing nicely with piles of cash, kind of self explanatory. It is funny how all of a sudden they're a force in recruiting . Same deal with North Carolina although they're about to get their just rewards for that. Clemsuck will get caught eventually.

Marlin Lane was committed to Clemson for 2 years before switching to UT. Does that make you feel at least a little better?

We criticize Clemson for getting players.
We criticize Auburn for getting players.
We criticize Vandy for getting players.
We criticize UGA for stock piling players
We criticize Bama for stock piling players
We criticize LSU for stock piling players.
We criticize Florida for stock piling players.

The reason for the criticism is that we are not getting players. That is the bottom line. When we get players we generally care less what other teams do.

No. His scholarship was pulled after his ACL tear and was given to Mike Bellamy, a five star RB. Lane even had a tiger paw tattoo but was given the "Judas Parker" treatment by the Clemson staff.

his scholarship was pulled because he wanted to take visits to other schools. He tore his acl his junior year and they didn't pull his scholarship until the middle of his senior year.

If you look at clemson's classes, you'll see that they typically sign 6-7 absolute stud 5/4 star guys. But then the rest of the class is rather mediocre. But the top end is strong enough to give them a high rating overall.
