Clemson/South Carolina debacle

I live in Spartanburg, and have seen much an argument over Twitter about "who's loss is worse."

South Carolina fans make the obvious "51-14" beat down argument. Simple.

I didn't really care/notice until I saw many a Clemson fans starting to say "Well Tennessee is the worst team in the SEC, that was embarrassing."

Then, I got involved. And I have to say Clemson fans are the most obliviously ignorant fans I've seen towards anything SEC.

Guess that's just all ACC teams for you. Sorry if this is irrelevant, just felt like I should share it to the Vol masses who don't endure this USC/Clemson fanbase every day of their lives. I envy those of you.

Clemson's was much worse. Number 3 team in the country getting humiliated at home.

Clemson fans root for a team in a bottom tier conference, their team is perennial disappointers, they don't even get to carry their states name, and their team just got roflstomped on national TV ruining their hopes at a national championship (aka-just another year for Clemson)... I'm willing to give them a pass on this one...

Clemson completely fell apart on both offense and defense. The pregame hype was the FSU-Clemson game was going to be a shootout. It was far from that.

USC's offense wasn't bad and neither was their D so I think the worse loss falls squarely on Clemson. And to top it off; the got stomped at HOME.

Well I live just outside of Clemson and know just what you're talking about! But you know where I was yesterday KNOXVILLE!! I hate clemson and sc! So glad I got to be a part of the vols win yesterday! I have bunches of friends and family that are big clemson fans my oldest bro is diehard clemson and tailgated all day yesterday and I rubbed it in good this morn after their beat down! My younger bro is like me a die hard Vol and was with me in Ktown yesterday. So it's rough living beside Clemson all though my blood runneth orange Its VOL orange through and through!! GBO!!!

Being nationally ranked at #3 Clemson's jockstrap was torn off & held up by Florida State Saturday night in a public display of total destruction in football & in total embarrassment for football fans of Clemson University. The fans of Clemson football team doesn't need to talk about anybody's team the way they got torn to shreds on ABC's nationwide viewing TV audience. The pregame hype was sold to be tremendous that people tuned out before halftime because Clemson was not playing up to their potential & they had such a let down for their fans I'm sure they have their heads in paper bags today. I know I would have a bag on my head if I was a Clemson football fan after last night's showing of garbage play.

Don't you love it when the Clemson fans say that they are the real orange! Makes me want to puke. By the way I lived in SC for 19 years so I have dealt with both SC and Clemson fans! UGH!

I feel your pain. I live in Jocassee and work in Clemson. I have to hear the daily crap too. I promise the coot fans I work with will hate me come Monday morning!!!!!

I cannot stand clemson, and its only because of their delusional and obnoxious fans. Glad to see them have a big loss at home.

I just noticed that pm is down. But I'm serious, I'd love to meet some of you guys, for nothing else but moral support! We had a party in my tennessee man cave for the game yesterday. All the mouth running coot fans showed up for it. The only vols there was me, my wife, and 2 young boys. Needless to say the unclassy ones left here pissed off with thier hat in thier hand. It would be awesome to have a little orange back up around here.

I live in Greenville and Clemson fans are the most delusional I've ever been around. I actually have a coworker that started planning her trip to the National Championship game after they beat Georgia. :rolleyes:

I live in SC. I was in Knoxville for the game. When I travel, I always wait until I get to NC to change clothes just so the local idiots don't think I'm a Clemson fan. There is no comparison. SC fans have some resemblance of class. Clemson fans cannot even pronounce class.

I also live in Spartanburg and this crap has flooded my Facebook feed since last night. Clemson fans are the worst bunch of crybabies. They live in 1981 and most believe Danny Ford is the best coach ever.
