I would not use that game as a barometer for Clemson being "legit".

Tech's offense is awful and has been all year. They're not a top-25 team. I'd label it more as Tech being further exposed.

Clemson is a very good team & have beat some good teams don't know what you would call legit.

Besides FSU, who have they beat that is good?

Auburn is awful (yes, I am aware Auburn beat SC, before you remind me).

VT is consistently overrated, and they appear to have a dreadful offense.

They struggled with Wofford before finally finishing them.

You can try & undermine them all you want. Watching them play I see they're a good team & watching USCjr I wonder how they won a game.

Troy is no pushover. FSU is still way talented even without Manuel especially on D. Auburn is hit & miss, not great but no slouch just doing what they have to do to win. Just because VT got beat handily that doesn't mean they suck. They were highly ranked.

Vt has a running back that would be a heisman contender if he played for bama or lsu. Other than that they suck. VT would be lucky to be a .500 team in the sec.

I never said VT was world beaters but they seem to have turned into a terrible team just because they lost to Clemson.

They were a bad overrated team before clemson. Only difference is now the world knows what non hokie fans living in the area knew before the clemson game.
