Clemson loses in double OT to Miami, who was playing their backup QB (freshman making his first start).
Cade Klubnik, who many in Tiger town insist is the second coming of Sunshine Lawrence and a shoo-in for the Heisman going into this season, made yet another boneheaded play in the second OT to seal the deal for the Hurricanes.
Will “Sonny Bono” Shipley also had a timely fumble for the felines from Upstate South Carolina, continuing his season of subpar performances that began with the physical beating he sustained in the Orange Bowl at the hands of the Tennessee Volunteers.
Clemson drops to 4-3 on the year with victories over mighty Furman, Charleston Southern, Syracuse, and a nail-biter last week over that perennial juggernaut, Wake Forest, and will surely not be able to weasel their way through the weak ACC and into the playoffs, as in years past.

Definitely worth staying up for.
