This is a move down, similar to Bobby Labonte going from JGR to Petty. A move of potential career killing.

So Clint decided to sign with, "the worst driver in Nascar" for next season? I see this as a negative for both parties.

When you're making millions a year, wouldn't you want to take a little less $$$$ to be more competitive? Bowyer is a idiot....

All these drivers say it's not about the money. They race because they love it and want to win then they go out and make bone head moves like this. Maybe they sold him on having tyhe same engines as JGR. Who knows, MWR might actually be competitive next year. I don't see it though.

He was a present day Bobby Hillin Jr regardless.

I wouldn't put Bowyer quite that low, he has won 3 or 4 races.

Today on Speed it was said that Richard Childress was making a last ditch effort to retain Bowyer.

Is UPS still infatuated with Clint? If so, that plays a huge part.

The deal is three years with 5-Hour Energy sponsoring 24 races, Clint will also drive the #15.
