A new two-part, four-hour documentary on PBS Monday night. Should be interesting. Anyone planning to watch?

Monica Lewinsky -- the intern at the center of his 1998 impeachment scandal -- will likely generate the most buzz. Interviews with former advisors shed new light on Clinton's thinking when it came to the 23-year-old who nearly ended his presidency.

"Bill said to me: 'Ever since I got to the White House I have had to shut down my body,' " said Dick Morris, adding that the president told him he had been weak regarding Lewinsky and had done enough with her to be in serious trouble.

Maybe I'm over analyzing this but I avoid these things because they are so sensitive to the agenda of the "teller".

Again, I could be way off but I trust the balance of a biography of a political figure more if it is written at least 50 years after their service.

Part of it is the Internet age where we are bombarded with so much slanted representations of events that I tend to avoid most political biographies and documentaries.

I agree, but in this case I think it is largely based on interviews of others who were part of the Clinton presidency. That would hopefully minimize any slant, though I'm sure those being interviewed will have their own opinions.
