USC and NCAA looking into possible contact with agent Jay Z.. And if any type of contract has been worked out. Could be a "Hard Knock life for Him"...

He'll be cleared. He is one of the NCAA's star money makers, and everything is legal if he spent his own money on a visit.

As nice as it is to have a player like clowney and manziel, i bet that coaching staff sometimes wishes they could get a full nights sleep.

Investigation will start about mid season and finish in late feb is my guess. By then, he is long gone and any wrong doing will be placed on the team for years to come. What a grand system.

If there is anything here that's exactly how it will go..

I always find situations like this to be ridiculous. Especially the way the punishment is ultimately ruled.

I just recall Dwight Dasher's (MTSU) eligibility case taking months then Cam Newtons taking a day or so later that season.... think the same principle applies here you don't keep the money makers off the field

So is just talking to him a secondary violation or more?

From what I've read "Communication is not, in itself, a violation of NCAA rules."

I think they're both looking to make nothing more/further (in the categories of things that are violations) happened

From what they were saying on CFL earlier it's only a violation if they actually made an agreement on future representation, which would be nearly impossible to prove unless they did it in writing.

Jay-z apparently dropped the ball on geno smith's contract for the jets and has already shown that he is in the learning phase, so I wouldn't be surprised if a written contract surfaces.

That'd be a pretty massive blunder, though, especially by comparison.
