Does anyone else notice how winded Clowney appears... Everytime it shows him, he is sucking wind... Tiny is gonna dominate him if he plays like this..

This is the result of letting a star player sandbag spring and fall camp. Tiny is going to hurt that man if he does start taking practice more seriously.

The kid is human by the way! It is the first game and it is hot. I would not read to much into this. Tiny will own him but it won't have anything to do with being out of shape!

Oh, I agree.. I'm just pointing out that they are deeming him the #1 pick.. And "the freak"... And making commercials about how much he's feared.. And he looks as if he'd lose a foot race to Dan McCullers lol.. Just sayin

And a side note.. Lol..
ESPN just showed highlights of Ole Miss's #1 recruit and how he's the next Clowney.. But all the highlights of him, he didn't do anything..
One he recovered a fumble someone else caused.. One he got past the double team, but the qb still got the ball off and didn't get touched.. And one two guys made a tackle and he jumped on the pile.. Lol.. I'm sure he's a great player, but those highlight sucked

YAY for ESPN..

You must be watching a different game

No you just haven't seen what I see.. He came out early in the first and was gasping ( and UNC wasn't on the field on offense that much) and then in the second he was holding his knees gasping..

Now there reporting he just told Spurrier about a stomach ache. Lol

I see your point as well. I just would not read to much into it.

Pace, Pace, Pace, and Pace. If you have less talent you kill them with pace and your conditioning. That's what we have to do all year if we want to win

This is precisely what I was referring to when I started the "This Offense will shock the SEC" thread. The uptempo element eventually mitigates the opponents talent advantage to one degree or another.

Uptempo offenses MUST be able to sustain drives for it to be most effective. That's why Oregon is able to blow games wide open. They can sustain drives, and by late in the 2nd-3rd qtrs, opposing defenses are gassed.
