Is there anybody that seriously believes or ever heard the likes of Woody, Bo, JoePa, Gen. Neyland, Knute Rockne, The Bear, Ol Ball Coach Spurrier, and a plethora of others coaching big time college football in the past to present day doing such whining, crying, and navel gazing as one Urban Meyer and his supporters in the media are doing? Here it is Urban, go ahead, you're invited to take the plunge, get your sex change operation, and become the first female to coach a major college football program. I simply cannot believe this wimpy weepy constant bombardment of how tough his job is at Florida, is going to play well with young men and their families pursuing playing major college football. If I wanted a son of mine to act like Urban has here lately in college sports, I'd dress him out in a skirt and have him apply for a field hockey scholarship.

It's hard to feel sorry for Urban after he recanted the resignation. Is he going to be the Favre of college coaching?

Wow. A high profile job that pays millions of dollars and makes celebrities out of those who are successful is stressful and demanding. Cutting edge stuff there, Pulitzer material.

The demands of coaching at the highest level are high. So are the rewards. I thought that was the way it was supposed to work.
