Coaches Heupel and Vitello, as well as Donde Plowman were at the Auburn basketball game.

Rick Barnes noted Monday night what’s going on at Tennessee is not commonplace in college athletics.
“Here right now, there’s not a better set up anywhere in the country than what we have right here,” Barnes said. “I have been doing it a long time and with Randy Boyd, Donde Plowman and Danny White with the staff he has put together with what’s going on in athletics it blows my mind how much it’s changed here the last three years.”

There's seemingly infinite ways to screw things up as we saw for a decade, but it's amazing what competent people who are all aligned can accomplish.

Inbreeding in coaching and other professions is not a god thing. ie. WBB at UT. How about a year or two at Kansas?

Achieving a solid athletic department with great coaches across the board is very hard to do and even harder to keep the band together. It's a great time to be a Vol fan.

Theres no doubt in my mind that this admin may be the best we've had, HOWEVER.... because Im demanding as Hell.... I want UT to start stacking serious banners. Conference AND NC's. We have to strike while the iron is hot. There is not a sport that UT fields in which we shouldnt be performing at the highest levels in all of them. The resources and leadership are there, IMO.
