Coach Battlle maybe the new AD at Alabama

Battle is 71. At best he'd be a transitional hire. I'm not sure I get this.

I would make Ozzie Newsome tell me 'no' before I'd even consider anyone else.

Alabama now has the poster boy for AARP as its athletic director. What business with a $133,000,000 annual budget, in the complex world of modern college athletics, would hire someone this age, it makes no business sense. Wait a minute, Saban already IS the real athletic director so this is just cosmetic, now it makes complete sense, a yes man in a nice suit, perfect.

I wonder if they will park moving vans in front of his house if the tide starts going downhill.

Probably because he has been a hugely successful businessman since he left UT and he has a lot of experience and wisdom. So what age exactly should you not be allowed to use your brain anymore? Could you send me a chart or something so I can prepare for that day myself.
