Thought I'd post a recap from CBJ's presser in the event some of you missed it:

Started Presser by having his family introduce themselves. Has a 16 y/o son Alex, 11 y/o son Adam, and 5 y/o son Andrew. CBJ jokes Andrew "has already committed to TN."

Thanks Cincy and his old team. Met with them this morning. When he told them he had accepted the head coaching position at UT, his players started clapping and applauding. *he's clearly a players coach and his kids love him.

"It's our goal to give everyone the kind of football program that you can be extremely extremely proud of and to continue to build upon the legacy and proud tradition that the Univ. of TN has been so proud of throughout the years."

"I can assure you we will put together the best football staff in the country."

"To our letter winners, you are the foundation. You will have an open door policy at our practices. You have laid the foundation for us to have much success for many years to come, and i'm a firm believer our letter winners are the program and they are welcome back any time."

"In closing, I will give my all to TN today."

Says, "I will be the first to tell you that Nick Saban and Les Miles had 0 SEC experience when they came into the league.. that's all I'll say there."

Asked about how it felt to know he wasn't our first choice, says He was his wife's third choice too, and that's worked out for 20 years.

Says UT is his dream job. I believe him. (Loved Rocky Top last year).
'Rocky Top' blares while Cincinnati practices - College Football - ESPN

Not from presser, but from twitter -
It's fate that CBJ is our coach. He's a former Cincy Bearcat - Half Bear, Half Cat - perfect for Rocky Top.

V,B! (Vols, Butch)... Still not sold yet but I feel better about him than I did 8 hours ago.... In any event, he's our coach now and will be for at least the next 5 years....

He also said that he believes a good coach builds an offense/ defense around the players he has and goes from there, so maybe not as big a jump from the offense now. I am not completely sold on him just yet, but if he lives up to the core beliefs he laid out he will be a good coach.
