Coach Cal at it again!

Was going to start my own thread but this thread will do.

Shabazz Muhammad and Anthony Davis were voted by nearly 100 colleges as having the 'perceived dirtiest recruitment' over the past 10 years.

Muhammad received 15 percent of the vote, while Davis received 13 percent.

John Wall, Kyle Anderson and O.J. Mayo received seven percent apiece, followed by Derrick Rose at six percent.

“This deal was done for a long time," said one coach about Muhammad's situation with UCLA. "The other rumors and stuff were just smoke and mirrors. People on the inside knew this deal was done. I mean, he turned Kentucky down.”

Kentucky's ability to secure Davis also drew suspicions.

"I've never seen a recruitment get shut down as quickly as that one got shut down," said one coach. "I don't know how they did it. But it was a strong play."

Anderson committed to UCLA before Muhammad.

“A kid doesn't go across the country to a school that doesn't fit his style of play – and turn down some of the top East coast schools – without it being unfair," said a coach. "It doesn't make sense from a basketball standpoint.”

Via CBS Sports

Of the six players listed, three played for Calipari. The other three went to UCLA and USC.

We get the best players. End of story.

U jelly?

That being said, these reports are going to periodically pop up just to stir the pot a little and keep everyone entertained. Call me when something actually happens.

A sports reporter in Chicago wrote that Davis' family got paid. Then he was quickly hushed up. No telling how much $$ he got out of it

They get what they deserve. They know he's dirty, but winning means more

If he's dirty...so be it. He's not the only one. Until they prove anything it means nothing. I don't deny that there's a chance he might cheat, but I won't believe it til they prove it. For now im content to look at the banner, rings, etc we got.

In other news, Nerlens Noel has one of the most punchable faces I've ever seen.

Pete Thameltoe is at it again. North Carolina has a decade worth of academic fraud, Shabazz has his own ATM in his dorm room, and the media still doesn't give a damn about anything other than bringing down UK. Coach K could literally hand out wheelbarrows full of cash right now, and it would somehow get labeled as charity or scholarship funds.

It is what it is.

Pretty sad IMO. This is why the 1 and done thing should be gone. Either make it till they are JR's or let the kids go out of HS. The lottery picks like Rose and Davis know they are talented enough to be in the league so this is just a small stepping stone. Cal benefits greatly from it but regardless if it's UK breaking rules or another college, just let the kids go. I'm sure a 4 year guy could have shady things happen as these 1 year guys go but it likely gets rid of a lot of crap clouding college basketball.

Seriously though, if Cal is as dirty as they say he is...something like this is all it would take. If they find something he did that was punishable, that would probably open a whole new can of worms because UK would do a self audit and the NCAA would snoop even further, looking for a way to hammer him. I imagine a lot of ppl want Cal to get in trouble.
