Coach Cregg as a recruiter

So far, he hasn't done squat. If, he can coach up the players. I say keep him on the staff. If not, he better be able to pull in two or three four star or better players from CA to prove his worth.

Cregg is a very good coach. IDK about his recruiting ability, but he can always discuss his days coaching in the NFL which I have heard helps.

As long as CLK is happy then I am happy. Besides, after a season or so with this staff, Cregg will be a bad a$$ recruiter, IMO.

Almost everyone he's recruiting is from California. Hard to expect him to have a great success rate. I know that Tom Cable, an accomplished OL coach, was pretty upset when Cregg left the Raiders.

they must trust him because he is recruiting some BIG names. powell, uko, telfer, shirley, stills, and j. james are all really good prospects. especially powell, telfer, shirley, stills, and james.

I think up to this point he has done great. Look at all the kids in Cal mentioning UT. We haven't really seen this amount of interest in recruiting. It will pay off. We will never get alot of kids from the west coast. But if you can pull a couple or even just one big time player east. It is worth it.

He has alot to sell. USC can't take all of them. They all see what Kiffin did at SC. There is a draw. We will see how it plays out. But I think we get at least one big time California player this year. Hopefully more down the road. Especially with the QB's that have been coming out of that state lately.

I think he needs to be given a chance. Im willing to bet that the O-Line will be significantly improved if we can avoid injury.
