Thanks for the heads up. That was great hearing Cutcliffe, Pearl and Fulmer back to back to back.

Good stuff

Cutcliffe basically said if the players thought the spring was tough, they havent seen anything yet. He sounds really determined. Nothing major with Pearl. Didnt really talk about Ramar. Just referred to him "if Ramar qualifies". Couldnt really follow Fulmer's rambling. He said something about puppies which made me laugh.

Fulmer talking about the freshmen getting to campus and nobody loving them was pretty funny. They jumped around a lot, but Fulmer sounded about as relaxed as I've ever heard him.

I also thought it was telling when Cutcliffe said that no matter what they did on offense, they WERE going to be able to run the ball when they wanted to and that he had challenged everybody to be more physically fit. For all the talk about 4 and 5 receiver sets, it sounds like job #1 is going to be playing physical.

I'm certain the host said they would post the interviews on their web-site later.

He also said he wants Foster to lose some weight.

Foster HAS lost weight. He's as fit as he's ever been. RU sure that's not what he said?

yeah just something about wanting Foster to be thinner. cant remember if it was past or present tense.

I heard it too. I believe he was making the point that what Foster needs to do to improve is learn how to finish off runs, i.e. not just be content to make a good run and then let the last guy bring him down. Become more physically fit so he can run through that last tackle and break away.

I don't know if anyone heard the interview on 104.5 in Nashville yesterday or not, but I liked what I heard. It was mostly what has already been said here.

Fulmer was talking about how bad it felt last year and how the next time when he raises "that trophy" above his head it would mean a whole lot more.

host: What trophy?

Fulmer: Both of them.

host: Which ones?

Fulmer: The SEC Championship and the National Championship trophy!

Fulmer sounded upbeat and like he means business this season.

I really think we are going to see a drastically different and improved team this year. I think the addition of coach Cut is a huge part of that. I hope I'm right. The scary thing is that with our schedule we could be very good and still have 3 or 4 losses.
