according to some of our fanbase, we went conservative and he forgot how to coach. maybe something wrong with the orange colored shades from time to time i guess

We did go conservative. But it was the right call. I’ll admit while sitting on my couch watching the game I was frustrated and couldn’t understand why. But when the game was over and I could think clearly, I realized Heupel knew the game was in hand, didn’t want risk anymore injuries on that crap field, and knew our defense would keep the game in check.

It was the right call and I just couldn’t see it till later

If you look at it down through the years, we really haven't been treated to much in the brains category. Even old Fulmer would show up in the Swamp with the more talented team, and Spurrier would coach circles around us. Mix in emotional Lane, disorganized Dooley, 5-star heart Jones, and Cornbread Pruitt, and we just ain't used to someone like Heupel, using common sense, and taking advantage of his advantages, to win a game.

No point in putting on film things that other teams can study if you don't need to and UT didn't need to. Josh has grown a lot as a coach and just keeps getting better.
