I hope for two things out of all this regarding our defense.
1. No more wussy arm tackles which opponents just run through as if our defender had rubbed his butt and wished him happy journey as he blast by.
2. Hard bodies. Let me explain. I was astonished to see those muscled Bamma guys bounce when they hit the ground. As opposed to looking like a wet sponge. They seemed hard to hold once you got your hands on them. I saw this over and over and realized it was because they were so hard and chiseled.
I Went to the strength and conditioning clinic this weekend, loved the things that coach Lawson said and the passion he had. The new training facility is freakin awesome and coach Jones is going to take us back to being feared. They sold me. That's not saying much since I want it to happen so bad, but they did. One more thing I loved was that the offensive coordinator (can't remember the name, too lazy to look it up) sat in on some of the speakers presentations. I've been to a ton of these things and never seen a coach set in on the S&C stuff before. Don't know if it will translate into wins but I liked it. I know, cool story bro.

Number 2 is the gayest thing I've ever read.
Got ya on #1. What the hell are you talking about on #2? That's frightening dude...
KBVol, what I was trying to say was that I saw some Bamma games. Players who got knocked down or jumped and fell hard to the ground bounced. It was as if a ping pong ball had been dropped from the second floor onto a concrete floor. This indicates those guys are hard muscled and hard to hurt, or tackle. It's that kind of thing I hope our new S&C brings to our players.
