Coach manning?

I know this sounds crazy but let's have fun with it.. If Caldwell gets put out as HC for Indy, could Peyton become the first ever player/coach in NFL history? Think about it, he can run his own offense, let the DC coach up the defense with a little if his input. He can have a hand in the draft selections too. I know it's crazy but I'm on lunch and I'm bored lol what do y'all think?

If coaches don't count against salary cap then they could throw insane amounts of money his way as coach, pay him some token amount as QB, and spend some dough on other positions of need. Never going to happen, but interesting to discuss.
