Met him today in Rocky Top Cafe. Really nice guy. Asked me how I was doing and if I was a VFL and I was like oh you don't even know lol. Also got a pic with him.

i'd say he'd really like to have a good crowd these last 2 games to get us back into the top 5. we have a much bigger arena than wisconsin so if we pack it there flat out is nothing that wisconsin can do about it.

Wish I was in Knoxville to get a picture with him. I've gotten a picture with every coach, minus Kiffin because he wasn't in Knoxville long enough, that has been there in my college tenure.

People say Coach Martin isn't personable. So he goes and meets students at the UC, and all of a sudden it's over the top. Give me a break.

Picked last in the conference and battling for a first round bye in the SECT. Wants the last 2 games to be exciting and a builder for an SECT run or next year.

Is this what it takes? Sure why not. Many players this year have improved under him which is the sign of a good coach. Players improving. If you don't think this team has improved, you're crazy.

The zone got them the lead but it has absolutely lost them the gane defensively as well.

IMO once UK started hitting and countering with 2 shooters on each wing he should have gone man.

They just started toying with the zone getting the 3 point look for miller or lamb they wanted. If they continued to miss that's one thing, but once they started hitting I think I'd of had to of switched.

You can't leave Miller, and he's the one that killed them late. I think he had 2 threes and 3 ft's in the last 4 minutes.

I don't think you need a zone the whole game, but you need one to slow down a team, change the pace, etc.

Absolutely. I thought it was great for the first 30 minutes or so but once UK adjusted to it and miller and lamb got hot UK just toyed with the zone getting them the looks they wanted.

Stansbury should have gone man IMO late, but I understand why he didn't, it's really pick your poison with UK hen they're hitting their shots like they were late.

Losing Hood for the game really hurt miss st too IMO, they scored 41 the first half and 23 the second, they really missed his presence in the 2nd half.

Either way, I think it definitely showed UK is beatable but you've got to have great guard play and someone who can try to handle Davis and jones in the post.

I love what Zo has done this season. I was very skeptical of the hire like all of VN, but I think he'll have us back at the top in a few years... Coaches should be out doing this more often, it definitely works IMO.

I hope there's a great showing, I'll be there though loud and proud.

I know it sounds dumb, but being able to say we have been top 5 in attendance for 7 straight years goes a long way when you're out there recruiting.

So let's have a good showing tomorrow night vol fans and overtake the badgers for #5, and make it 7 straight years with top 5 attendance.

Dude, I totally agree that even though our stadium is too big to pack the house, saying we are top 5 in attendance is a plus on the trail.

Also, if CCM gets the job done on the court (and I think signs point to him doing that in the future for sure) I absolutely appreciate and support his willingness to engender himself to our students. Hell, I would love to meet him, seems like a really stand up guy IMO.
