If anyone is listening to coach Matthews on 104.5 right now you can probably tell he ain't happy!! And he's basically saying that the Adminisration is holding us back from tring to get UT football to where it use to be. Now I understand that this is a place for higher learning and degrees etc. but damn it 104,000 people don't show up to see a kid take a chemistry exam!! I say **** can Cheek, Hart, or who ever is not on board to getting this ship wreck cleaned up!! Hire Tennessee people that gives a damn about our football team!! And Please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Cheek say that no football coach should make more than university faculty.... GET ALL OF HASLAMS MONEY AND GO GET A COACH WORTH A DAMN!!!!!!!

You can have athletics and academics mix, but it has to be in a way that works for both, not one or the other. Best comparison right now I can give about the way they mix currently, is like oil and water.

All Butt Cheek cares about is getting us in the Top 25 in Research and listed in a f**kin magazine that nobody reads. Most of that lazy faculty deserve nothing - they sit in the library and do "research" while the graduate assistants teach the class. They deserve nothing but anguish. Butt Cheek and the faculty are the reasons that MTSU is now the largest undergraduate school in the state. Cheek should be flogged for that.
As for Fart, his plan is to undermine us and then scamper back to the Big Red Trailor Park when their AD either dies or is committed to a home.

It's time to hold all of the UT Administration accountable for this mess. If Vanderbilt can put a winning product on the field then there is absolutely no excuse as to why our administration can't get it done. Hart needs to fight for the athletic programs, from academic standards to putting quality/competent coaches in place across the board! Football is the bread winner for this university. However, the bread has gone stale and needs to be replaced.

I know he is just one man's opinion, but I agree w/him 99% of the time and think his broadcast tells it like it is.

That's the problem, all that money runs through Cheek. Even though the FB program brings in enough donation money during goodtimes to run itself and give back to the university, Cheek thinks he needs to make more. I have been for firing Cheek for nearly 4 years. The SOB is a crook and should be investigated, tried, and put in prison.

I went to MTSU my freshmen year. Not a great school. Only reason they have more people is because its cheap and literally anyone with a pulse can get in. UT is light years ahead of MT

We really need to clean house and I mean all the way to the top and start over. We must get Tennessee football back to prominence and we have a lot of guys holding us back.

It continually blows my mind how Cheek's sorry arse and the BoT fail to understand that a successful football team is good for everything about our university? It draws attention from everyone. That leads to more students, more media, more interest from researchers and such that keep hearing about our athletics all over the TV and radio. As they have us now, we're footnotes on the ticker of ESPN. F Cheek, F the board, get someone in here that has the real interests of the University of Tennessee at heart.

Stanford 17. Oregon 14. Tennessee will NEVER be on Stanford's level academically. I just hope it can athletically get back to their level now.
