The bubble screens & running wide just does not work for this offense! We just don't have the wr blocking for it to work! We don't have to throw for 80 yds a play, just throw DOWN THE Field! We have to ATTACK on offense & defense! We have a 6'5" 240 lb QB (who can run), why not line him up behind the center & run straight ahead for 4 & 1! We got out coached & out played in the 2nd half! ATTACK on offense ATTACK on defense! We play NOT TO LOSE! NOT TO WIN! Give up on the bubble screens. I think Bama had 1 5 yd penalty we had about 10! Coach H it is time to get D Williams in on offense! We did not score in the 2nd half, we gave this game away! Without Fant, our red zone offense is terrible! We cover too soft on defense & a lot of our routes are ran too slow making them too easy to cover!

Bingo!

They know Milton needs certain play calls to open easy reads to throw effectively. When we get conservative, it’s a sign, we don’t trust the quarterback. They didn’t forget how to be aggressive after last season. It comes down to trusting the quarterback’s ability to push the ball down the field. If you don’t, put somebody else in. I am in favor of push the ball down the field, regardless.

Bama did a good job adjusting by using a TE to extend the line of scrimmage and create an extra gap and building formations into the boundary; Vols needed more TDs inside the 10 yd line and the inability to convert on those 4th downs proved the difference.

I do think we were out coached in the 2nd half, but I’m as proud as ever to have Coach Heupel as our HC. I knew we were going to take a step back this year, but we just went down and honestly had Nick Saban on the ropes in a bridge year for our program.

I’m disappointed but so glad he’s our coach, future is bright!

In the first half, Joe got a play and ran it. He was not calling an audible. He was reacting loosely and not having to think about changing plays. Then in the second half, they start running clock and changing plays and we look lost. This was on the coaches. Fourth and 6 inches in first half and fourth and 1 in second half and we line up 5 yards deep and fail on both.

You can’t when officials literally won’t let you play the game.

When you go for it 3 times on 4th down you are keeping your foot on the pedal. But outside of Squirrel, we just don't have the receivers to create separation on our team. It may seem fun to keep gunslinging it. But we just aren't build to do that this season.

If we just line up behind center & then run it on 4th & 1, I would say so!

Get Heup outta your mouth. He just called one of the worst halves I’ve seen in football history.

They don't trust him and if the losses start to pile up the team won't either.. This was a total team meltdown though and not entirely his fault. The playcalling is tailored to him though and it's limited to say the least. Good teams like Bama figure that out and start to adjust. That's when the problems start because we get into a gun fight with a knife..

The pentiles just piled up again! I was hoping that we would try & block that bama punt in the 4th quarter backed up in their end zone! But just like the Florida game the play calling in the 2nd half was a head scratcher!
