1 that refused Muschamp? I saw earlier where he said to be for or against is just pushing an agenda at this point.

The football clock is the same as the basketball clock you have a number of seconds to take a shot and start a play. We need to keep it that way. Run the play when you want within the time allotted.

I concur. Any coach who complains that the other team is running plays to quickly needs to grow a set and simply learn to adjust! Penalizing the offense for getting plays off to quickly has got to be the dumbest things I have ever heard of!

Saban's defensive scheme was "exposed" against several teams last year. He's already admitted he changed what type of DL recruit he's going after, smaller and faster to kep up. This move was to give them time to develop players.

If I were an opposing coach... I'd be in recruits' ears asking them why Saban was so afraid of being outcoached that he is trying to manipulate the rules.

There's no need for such a rule the official marks the ball down and then stands over it 'til he blows the whistle for play to resume. :crazy:
