Yea I saw that, is the Coach's Poll figured into the BS...err...I mean BCS?1.Ohio State
2.Southern California
3.Michigan
4.Florida
5.LSU
6.Wisconsin
7.Louisville
8.Arkansas
9.Boise State
10.Oklahoma
11.Auburn
12.Notre Dame
13.Rutgers
14.Virginia Tech
15.West Virginia
16.Wake Forest
17.Texas
18.Nebraska
19.Tennessee
20.California
21.Brigham Young
22.Georgia Tech
23.Hawaii
24.Texas A&M
25.Boston College
So Tennessee and Texas are both 9-3. Tennessee losses include a 1 pt loss to #4 UF, a last second 4 pt loss to #5 LSU and a road loss to #8 Arkansas. On the other hand, Texas, who is ranked 2 spots higher, loses to #1 Ohio State, unranked Kansas St, and #24 Texas A&M. Can anyone explain the logic here?
We are ranked ahead of Cal in the Coach's Poll....I hope it comes out in the AP and BCS that we are too....I just don't see how they get that high because my god, we spanked them in September....I guess its not who you lose to, but when you loseThey will.
I also predict Tennessee will be the highest rated 3 loss team and FINALLY be ranked ahead of Cal.
That's exactly what I did....I really thought they were going to come on there with a big punch line or something but I waited and waited and there was no punchline LOL......I'd like to know the explanation to that as well...There is no way that the PAC-10 is the best conference in the countryI heard that and I laughed. I don't really understand the computer ranking stuff, but I'd really like to know what the computers rate so high in their formula that puts the PAC-10 at the top.
The Teams sent to Bowls should be an indication of conference strength, and they don't jibe with the computer polls.
There is no way Tennessee can compete with Texas. I wish we didn't play each other. I just wished we could handle a relatively weak one, like PSU to end our season, and then come back next season. God forbid us playing anyone tough to embarrass ourselves.
