Brent mentioned several postmen that the staff have their eyes on to add to this year's class, including Deandre Daniels. He said not to count us out with him as he has kept in contact with some coaches. Probably a long shot, but there's no word to describe the impact he would have for us next year.

I lost track as to when the various BB coaches would be able to recruit off campus.

I can't believe we still have a chance. Thanks for info. This would be great for this class.

I doubt Daniels is coming to Knoxville. We already have Tatum, McRae, and Woolridge for next year - I don't see the incentive for him coming.

I really, really hope that post is meant as sarcasm.

I really, really hope you won't harass me. Not holding my breath though.

My point was not speaking about the talent level, just the numbers. With Hopson and Tatum more than likely in the starting lineup next season, why would he want sit on the bench?

If you argue that he'd start over Tatum, I'd have to see it to believe it. Everyone knows our lineups and substitutions are fubar.

I hope this current staff is NEVER allowed to go recruit/evaluate again its obvious they don't have a clue what a good player is. This staff or at least its leader SUCKS when it comes to evaluating talent. Too many instances to name.

We take a transfer that plays behind a walk-on who couldn't start on an average NAIA Team...

You honestly don't think he's capable of beating out the garbage we have at the 3 right now?

Can you honestly guarantee me that if Hopson and Tatum are both on the team and healthy next year that Daniels would definitely start? I'm not saying he should or shouldn't, but I would just have to see it to believe it. We all know this is one of Pearl's most unpredictable aspects of coaching: see all the minutes that McBee and Pearl have seen this season.

Hopson is going to the league barring a lockout, imo. My 8 year old cousin should start over Tatum, once again, imo.
