Coaching

Point the finger at anyone you want but this is the worse coached team I have ever seen. Too many fouls, bad plays; what are these people doing during the week? I am done with watching UT football, I have wasted too many Saturdays!! Never again.

this team needs more disipline. the flags are all over the place. fulmer has to do something to stop the flags from showering neyland.

It baffles me how people say that its not bad coaching, but bad execution that is killing us. Bad execution is a product of bad coaching.

I saw the same thing you did today as well as the other games: Lack of Discipline. When you have players committing the same fouls over and over, it is a result of lacking discipline. Many of you may not want to hear this but it is the responsibility of the coaches to instill team discipline and make sure every player is accountable to the team. Phil is still clapping when players make mistakes. What happened to the old-fashion "kick in the butt" or an "ass-chewing" from coaches? Oh, how I miss those old days as a player and coach.

Thats a great point.
Just because players dont execute it doesn mean better coaching couldnt have improved execution.

How many good coaches with equivalent talent have so many players that don't execute?

our team has too much talent to play they way we do. i say if changes are made (cough offense coordinator), tenn is a contender isn 06 for the sugar bowl. if not, look out capital one.
