When Cobb got the ball handed to him inside the twenty he was going to score. Of course it didn't hurt to have Antoine Davis and Charles McRae blocking for him.
Despite the drug problems, I have always appreciated Reggie's contribution to the team while he was there. Remember, all the UT fans were heartbroken because Leroy Thompson, the nation's #! RB out of high school, despite being from K-Town, signed with Penn State. Then Reggie, also from Knoxville, and not highly recruited came to UT and was in fact a better player in college.
p.s. Speaking of great Tennessee running backs that were kicked off the team by Johnny Majors, does anyone know what ever became of Hubert Simpson from Athens?
