I thought the defense looked great last night. They are noticeably faster, and tackling better. But I cant help but be worried about Coleman. We know Sutton locks his side of the field down, but im worried Coleman may get picked on a lot this year.

He's a D1 corner. You are going to give a big play every now and then. It's part of the game. Justin Coleman is solid in pass protection, tackles well, and is not afraid of the bigger receivers. He is going to do a great job for this season.

I hope he does. Just have yet to see it since he has gotten here.

I'm with you. He's a weak link unless he's anywhere at nickel and even then I'm still concerned. We need one of our talented freshman or Mike Williams to grow up quickly

He is not solid in pass protection. Last night looked like a replay of last year. If I was an opposing QB, I would love to see Coleman by himself on one of my Wr's

Im trying to stay positive and not put the guy down, but I just dont think hes a SEC quality starting corner.

He played good except for one play where he made a mistake watching the ball instead of his guy. Not too worried right now.

I thought Coleman actually had decent position to make a pick, or at least break up that long TD pass. If he could have timed his jump, or even jumped at all, I believe he makes a play on it.

Coleman is not an SEC quality CB and the only reason I can see to start him there is because of the competition and that he is very experienced. That corner is Williams' or Moseley's to claim IMO. Move Coleman back to nickel or back-up.

With an unbiased eye, he had a really good game. PI was bs and his man was a decoy anyway. The one obvious bad play, but how many plays did he play? 50+? Didn't he cause a fumble?
