Lou Holtz: Made a name for himself at NC State; Minnesota; Notre Dame; & South Carolina…. But never made a “blip” with the New York Jets (1976)….
(But WHO has???)

John McCay: (USC 1960-1975) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 1976 -1984 (Team & QB Steve Spurrier- SUCKED! SUCKED!!SUCKED!!!!)

Rich Brooks: (Oregon Ducks 1977-1994) - St Louis Rams 1995-1996…. OK?

Jimmy Johnson - (Miami Hurricanes (1984-1988)…. Won back-to-back Super Bowls 1992-1993. Owner Jerry Jones basically bought the Greatest Football Team in the World!….(But he SUCKED Coaching the Miami Dolphins! - Remember THAT?!!)

Barry Switzer - Oklahoma: Won Super Bowl 30 - 1995. But, He never did a DAMN thing but inherit an AWESOME Dallas Cowboys team…..

Pete Carroll - USC (2001-2009). Fired TWICE from the New York Jets (1994) and The New England Patriots (1997-1999) before he luckily got hired for a STACKED Seattle Seahawks Team that won the Super Bowl in 2013.

Bobby Ross - (Ga Tech 1987-1991). San Diego Chargers (1992-1996). - That’s about it….

Nic Saban - LSU Tigers & now Alabama Crimson Tide….
Miami Dolphins (2005-2006) - The Guy was NOT a PRO Coach!

Mike Riley - (Oregon State 1997-1998) - San Diego Chargers - 1999-2001: Who Knew……

Jim Harbaugh - (Stanford 2007-2010) San Francisco 49ers: 2011-2014. 3 NFC Championship Games & a Super Bowl - But, he never won the Big One! (He STILL Hasn’t!)

Steve Spurrier- Florida Gators 1990-2001: Washington Redskins - 2002-2003: He drafted & recruited EVERY former Gator player in the NFL: And He SUCKED as a PRO Coach!!!!

Lane Kiffen - Offensive Coordinator at USC 2005-2006. FIRED as Coach of Oakland Raiders 2007-2008. — We ALL know the rest of this story……

Urban Meyer - Won National Championships at both Florida & Ohio State. — Didn’t win **** with the Jacksonville Jaguars!…

The Seahawks weren’t “stacked” when Carroll took over. Just about all the core pieces of those teams that made back-to-back Super Bowls were acquired under his watch.

Yeah he got there in 2010 and Russell Wilson was drafted in 2012. They completely overhauled the roster after he was hired.

I see the same thing several times here. As a long time Dolphin fan, there sure was quite a few BUMS that ran that franchise into the ground.

Don’t watch NFL anymore so…who cares anyways

All the college coaches went to bad teams. Had Saban,Spurrier how to really hood teams they would’ve been successful. Meyer like him or not basically put together this current Jacksonville team which is now a decent team.

Tom Coughlin - Boston College Eagles Coach 1991-1993: Coached the Jacksonville Jaguars from 1985-2002. Won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots TWICE!: 2008 & 2012 ! - As the New York Giants Coach?

Chip Kellly: led to him serving as a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons, three with the Philadelphia Eagles (2013–2015) and one with the San Francisco 49ers (2016). Kelly only made the playoffs in his first season with Philadelphia, and he was fired from both teams.
