It was appalling that the best conference in college football had Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson together as the marquee crew for so many years. Verne had a long history with sports coverage, but his best years were behind him many years before retiring. Danielson was an awful replacement for Todd Blackledge. CBS said Verne and Gary brought a "neighborly approach" to the broadcast, whatever that meant. They reminded me of the two old muppets in the balcony. Its beyond amazing that CBS hung on to Danielson for this many years.

I'm glad the SEC games will be leaving CBS following the 2023 season
