College Football News: 06-07 BOWL Projections :)

I think these predictions are highly unlikely. Utah won't go to a BCS bowl. I doubt Iowa will either. FSU might get lucky again and slide into one somehow. I also don't see USC playing for the national championship again. I guess you can't expect much better from CFN.

Why not USC other than the probability of making the NC game again. They have reloaded and have the best coach in the game. It wouldn't suprise me to see them playing for a NC again.

Who knows how it'll go, ya know... every team seems to have a question mark, even the pre-season favorites. USC lost their offensive machine, although I'm sure the replacements will be great in time, Ohio State lost their defense basically, Texas lost Young, Notre Dame's defense could still be iffy, Auburn has to go through the sEC, and so on...

Also, I'd be thrilled with any Tennessee game played in January.

Did I miss something? That's the exact same link that starts the thread.

No, there were just two threads about the same thing and I merged them.

It would be nice to have a shot at Penn State. I think I am still bitter over the 31-13 spanking they gave us back in 94 lol

That would be nice if it happend that way.

This is a random question, but I thought the Liberty Bowl Was CUSA #1 vs Mountain West #1, did they change that? CUSA is playing an SEC team now?

They'd probably screw Tennessee out of it again and take Florida instead.
Yeah, Tennessee's performance in the Peach Bowl really showed the Outback Bowl what a mistake they made.

Auburn in the NC game? What a joke

No, it's not. They are more likely to go undefeated than any team in the SEC. Yeah, they don't have an off week, but their away schedule is very favorable.

I just dont think they are the best team in the nation. I think they may even lose 2 games in the SEC.

I would have thought Auburn wouldn't be too hot last year, after losing Jason Campell, Cadillac, and Ronnie Brown. Plus, they were starting a young QB (freshman, I think). You could see that things didn't look good in that first game against Georgia Tech. It was amazing how much that team improved over the season, especially Brandon Cox. Now, he's a solid QB and I think he and Kenny Irons and their always tough D will lead them to a top 10 finish.

I wish our team had improved over the course of last season. We probably peaked at LSU, and after that, it was all downhill.

And that's fair, but to call an article a joke that thinks differently is a little silly.

So Tiddy, you'll be happy playing in January? Did you notice they're playing the freakin' GMAC Bowl in January this year?!?! :ermm:

That won't be a problem since Tennessee isn't in the MAC or Conference USA.

I was just saying, since these idiots have moved their crap bowls there, the term "January Bowl" doesn't have the same meaning it has had in the past. :p
