The 2014 Team Is Trending … Vanderbilt. The program hit its ceiling under Franklin, and while it’s possible to come up with winning seasons and bowl games, Derek Mason won’t take the Commodores to another level.

Bet little imyaxle dropped a lugnut over this bombshell.

I loved the first part...buTch Jones is building a powerhouse!

Results will become better and more consistant in 2015 with all the really young players getting stronger and more acclimated to what buTch is demanding!

That's just truth in him saying those things.

I'm actually surprised that anyone ranks us that high when we're so young and lack serious depth.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

Arky is ranked ahead of us....

What the mother?

College football is all about getting the right coach/staff/leadership. How can anyone project Arkansas to be better going forward after that debacle last year?

Bielema was an absolute train wreck on the field his first year and has been 10 times worse off it from his "I'm a better coach than Saban" schtick on the booster circuit early on to his "Ive got death certificates" reasoning why there should be a 10 second slown down the offense rule. He's a complete buffoon.

Then compare UT's and Arky's recruiting classes.... UT #5, Arky #29 with only 20 total recruits, and all of 3 4 stars. Talk about a bias....jeez!

On paper we are looking a lot better, but we have to prove it on turf. Otherwise, we need to line the field with paper.

Since when does somebody ranking us #32 mean they think highly of us?:sad::question::question:

Didn't notice them mention any other coaches or teams "building a powerhouse". Ranking a 5-7 team at 32 that has big question marks on both sides of the ball... well, that is a pretty bold comment to make. A 32 rank isn't where UT should ever be, but it is our reality, a reality that Butch and co are trying to turn around.

All the recruiting stars aside...

If UT wants to get back to T25, they gonna have to average more than 1 road win per year.

They have 5 road victories in the past 6 seasons. The teams they beat on the road averaged 3.6 wins per season.

Collegefootballnews is hit or miss IMO.

And by 'hit or miss', I mean 'mostly misses and the rare decent tidbit'

32 ranking in a poll no one cares about. This feels like The Wall of Gaylord. "I didn't know they made 9th Place ribbons"
