Leading with the helmet and helmet to helmet: Here is another officiating rule that is often judgmental rather than being easily and cleanly called correctly.
To me, it's rather instinctive to lead with the helmet on an aggressive tackle. I thought that's why helmets were invented to play the game. You have all seen so many instances in the past year where games are affected by questionable penalties. What's next? Might as well make it illegal to tackle above the waist. Then the calls would be more consistently applied to both teams. The officiating is far too inconsistent as is.
