I was expecting to see a little more manly build. If that is her in the picture, she is in for a rude awakening.

Someone commented on the ABC article that this girl came in dead last in most of the skills competitions during tryouts but the university issued her a LOI anyway. Im not sure if thats true or not but if this girl has some any football athletic talent, Im not sure where she is hiding it on that scrawny physique.

People love an underdog story and that seems to be all this is.. Im sure the school that recruited her will not be shy about congratulating themselves. If she was a real starter sort of athlete then this would mean a whole lot more but this is just sort of unfortunate.

My best wishes to the girl. Hopefully she can stay healthy even if it is in scrimmages and practices.

So she's terrible? There was a lady at a local high school who played DE and was actually pretty good. She actually sacked the QB at times.

Ultimately, there should probably be a women's college football league but right now there is most likely not enough athletes and/or interest for anyone to even invest in university club teams. So yeah, the first few successful female football athletes may have to cut their teeth in the men's league to draw in that sort of support .. and they are going to have the be the type of players that would otherwise be the absolute studs of women's CFB.
