Georgia or South Carolina.

It will depend on how the teams are doing in their respective seasons. If USC looks like they have a chance at an upset, or if UGA/UT looks like it will decide the East, then I'll bet gamday will be there.

They may not even come to knoxville. But if they do it will be the georgia game for sure. we will both proably be undefeated at the time (or at least i hope).

It depends on what different teams do in different weeks. I doubt they go to K-ville though.

It won't be UGA @ Tenn. That is the same day as the Red River Shootout.

You're probably right.

The only way they'd choose UGA/UT over the Shootout would be if the Sooners or Horns were both doing horribly at that point and UGA and UT were undefeated and ranked in the top 5.

Even then it would be hard for them to pass up the Shootout.

I think our best chances for Gameday at all are:

Week 3 @ Florida

Obviously a big matchup. I think Gameday will probably be there, the only other big-time matchup that week is Florida State at Boston College.

Week 4 @ LSU

If we win at Florida, then it should be a toss-up between this game and Iowa at Ohio State. If we lose at Florida, it will be Hawks vs. Bucks for sure.

Week 10 @ Notre Dame

There really don't seem to be too many big matchups this week. Stanford at USC and Texas A&M at Texas Tech seem to be the only two games that could compare.

Otherwise, too many Marquee matchups on the Third Saturday in October (Texas Tech @ Texas, Michigan @ Iowa, Auburn @ LSU) to really hope for a Gameday game.

I bet on the LSU or Florida game or maybe even both...It just depends....Either way we'll get picked to lose by a blowout so I'm happy..We play better as under dogs

Well, Iowa at Ohio State is a big, big matchup. Hard to compete with, but if we beat Florida then I think everybody will be considering it a close call. With all this hype Meyer's been getting, a solid win over him would give us a lot of momentum.

I'm okay with it. They were the better team and earned both of those wins.

Notre Dame, on the other hand... :banghead:

I just don't think that Gameday will be in Knoxville this year.

The only good ones would be vs. UGA or vs. Bama, but both of those weeks have a lot bigger games going on.

It always makes me nervous when gameday is in Knoxville anyway. I don't care if they come or not this year. Tennessee just needs to win ball games.

I'd rather them stay away. We don't have a great record with them showing up in Knoxville.
