College Gameday to be in Knoxville January 15th

Confirmed by many people I have talked to including a member of the basketball staff. Posters on VQ are hearing the same thing, including one extremely reliable poster who said it was 100% done. Hubbs trying to 100% confirm, but it's a done deal.

College Gameday will be in Thompson Boling Arena live Saturday, January 15th from 11 AM-12 PM (Reece Davis, Digger Phelps, Jay Bilas, Hubert Davis). Later on that day, both Tennessee's men's game vs. Vandy and the Lady Vols game vs. Vandy will be played in Thompson Boling Arena and air on ESPN. It marks the fourth straight year Tennessee has been selected for College Gameday (2008 @ Memphis, 2009 vs. Florida, 2010 @ Kentucky, and now 2011 vs. Vanderbilt)

I will never forget waiting during College Gameday in 2008 for hours, and Bruce Pearl coming out and says "We lost a few, but y'all are here to support the vols" and then he and a few players handed out pizza. HE is a great person, i am so glad we have a classy basketball coach

I remember showing up at 6 AM for the screening scheduled for 9 AM and running into a substantial line. I'll have to show up earlier this time!
