College Gameday's Loction for Week 5

USC/Cal, LSU/UGA, Oklahoma/Miami (Bradford has been cleared to play)

You've gotta be kidding me. Even though Miami and Cal got blown out yesterday, I'm still looking forward to their games next week. I can't even name anyone on BC right now.

Wow, nice choice, ESPN. I'm sure the ratings will be through the roof for that one. So the best ABC could do was a battle of mediocre ACC teams for a Sat. night primetime game?

I just checked and both the USC/Cal game and Miami/OU game are 8 pm on ABC. This really doesn't make sense then.

I know the reason now. Mark Herzlich was one of the best defensive players in the ACC last year and after the season he found out he had cancer. He's going through treatments now and hopes to play next season.

Great story and all, but College Gameday has lost it's luster. Use to, they'd go to the best game wither it was on ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS, or whatever. Now it's almost only ESPN/ABC games.

I forgot about that. It's kinda hard to be mad at them for that, but still gameday should be where the best games are regardless. It seems like every week now Herbstreit doesn't make a pick since he happens to be calling the game they're at.

Cant have it at miami because the field doesnt open to the public until 4 hrs before the game. Would probably have 200 people there

bc miams stadium is not on campus. The stadium/parking lots are all closed off until 4 hrs before the game.

ah ok. I didn't realize the parking lot was closed. looks like they'd open it up for something big like Gameday.
