College Gameday's SEC Coverage has diminished.

This is the first article I've read whereby Chris Folwer, (notorius for referring to UT fans as trailer park trash when Manning lost the Heisman Trophy) has actually defended having the gameday crew in different locations that exclude the SEC even more GV.:dunno: EXCUSE ME!

Don't mind GaVol, ESPN's hatred of Tennessee and the SEC just burns him up.

I don't care what ESPN says . . . in fact, I hope they pick against us because as you know . . . we always play better as the underdog. :tease2:

 GAVol. You have to excuse us left-coasters for plotting with ESPN and the Big Ten to take away coverage from the south, and bring it to the west coast and midwest all the time. It's part of the grand scheme.

This is some validation for us posters who made similar observations over last couple of weeks. While I am sure ESPN has a business interest in mind, the result is that some of the Gameday sites chosen have been suspect.

Come on, Fellas...think about it!

Who just made a big deal for college football games to be shown on ABC? What network has most of their college football advertising the saturday night games?

ESPN.... What kind of buisness sense does it make to do a gameday show at a school and feature a game that isn't even on your network, when you can do otherwise?

:hmm: How is that not good business sense? They advertise the ABC game on ESPN... Gotta pimp your own network. Guys, scream bias all you want, business is business. If CBS had a similar gameday show, it would probably be at SEC games 80% of the time.

i think you and crew agree with each other....

and your last point about CBS doing a game day show...i wish someone else would do a game day show....

the only thing about Gameday i like anymore is Kirk...he's the only one on that show with any sense. And forget about Reece and the boys...they suck.

In other news: Watching anything on ABC SUCKS.. The picture quality is horrible and the sound isn't that much better.

AGreed. even the HD picture, while still very good, isn't as good as CBS's or ESPN's (which is weird?). ESPN has the best HD feed i've seen, NBC's is the worst...

Actually I like the games on CBS more than ESPN. :dunno:

Of course, HD is HD, and it is far better than a regular signal.

To cure that, just go back to watching the regular picture for about a week, then turn the game on Saturday in HD. I don't care who y'are, that's amazin' right t'ere!

ESPN's HD blows everyone else away.

ABC is terrible. For some reason CBS doesn't seem that clear to me either. It's not ABC-awful, but it's nowhere near ESPN.
