College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Dayum! What a finish! 83-82….Bama comes through. Kelvin and Nate both had to be restrained, Nate down the stretch, Kelvin at 00:00.

Wow, crazy finish! The ball was definitely on the way down, but I’m not sure it was over the cylinder. Either way, it wasn’t going in, so I think the refs were right in not giving the game to Houston on what would’ve been a missed shot.

Agreed. Sampson went off the rails…

Houston had the ball with 24.6 seconds left and that was the best shot attempt they could get lol. That is an example of what not to do in that situation.

Explain what you liked about his swagger and game.
I like a smack talking white boy that can shoot and back it up. Like Larry Bird, not his game, so much, but they both talked the talk and walked the walk. He was an easy guy to dislike, unless he was on your team. I can see why people loved to hate him, but sometimes I like guys like that and I liked Marshall. He was a damn good college basketball player, although it never translated into a NBA career.

Larry Bird would tell the opponent what the play was and where he was going to shoot it and drain it right in their faces…in the NBA. Probably the best trash talker of all-time.
