No, that’s not accurate.https://bleacherreport. com/articles/2790105
(Had to edit the link so that my mobile app would post it. Sorry.)
Saw a FB post with this link where people are stating that Oscar T can return to UK if undrafted due to this rule made in 2019.
If true, I assume it’s only possible if he signed with an NCAA approved agent.
Full disclosure, I am at work and haven’t read that article shared. Just thought it was interesting.
I saw that same post and it’s not accurate. The link you posted as well gets it only half true. The rule from 2019 was contingent on the NBA needing to change or alter certain rules as well and that never happened. Not in any way trying to argue or debate but since I cannot currently research it myself, can you share a TL;DR on why? Thanks.
It feels like the IARP (or whatever the abbreviation is) hasn’t hammered anybody, any school or coach that has gone before them has seemingly gotten off very light. Unfortunately for Tennessee they’re disbanded and they went before the inconsistent NCAA.Unequal application under the rules happens all the time, but if Tennessee Football is hit with the hammer after Will Wade was given basically a slap on the wrist….
Wouldn’t exactly call a 2 year show cause a slap on the wrist. But McNeese State won’t care because…it’s McNeese State. Not like they’re going to be ripping off a Final Four run anyway. They won’t care if they get a postseason ban over thisUnequal application under the rules happens all the time, but if Tennessee Football is hit with the hammer after Will Wade was given basically a slap on the wrist….
Take away his ability to cheat and how is he going to be successful?Wouldn’t exactly call a 2 year show cause a slap on the wrist. But McNeese State won’t care because…it’s McNeese State. It's his association with Southern Miss. It still haunts him. Everytime Kansas or Kentucky commits a recruiting violation they get so angry they throw more probation on Southern Miss.2-year show-cause and 10-gm suspension for Will Wade in connection to his level 1 violations at LSU. Yet, somehow, Donnie Tyndall got a 10-year show-cause.
