face it, we're headed for a 16-16 season and probably no tournament (except the sec, of which we'll lose in the 1st round ) this team doesn't care (except for tobias ) if it goes anywhere. i'm not a negavol, but we've had it. lose to morehead by 20. what a joke of a team. sorry, but pearl is gone, the AA is going to blast us !!

Pearl is no Wade Houston. It is unpredictable at this point, but I predict a win over Memphis and 10-6 in the SEC.

after everything pearl has done at TN you think that he's just a mediocre coach? because that's what you're implying

i agree. if he is such a great coach, why in the world does he not light a fire under this team ? he has talent, size and experience. i really believe the allegations have gotten to him, and maybe the team.

This team has no composure to win on the road. 10-6 is awful for the SEC, but with the way the team has been playing the past month, 9-7 seems likely.

I hope the majority of UT's fanbase doesn't see things the way this board does. Talk about a tough crowd. Look at what R.Williams has been going through at UNC. There are HOF coaches who have had bad years at some powerhouse schools. It happens to the best of them. I'm not trying to sugarcoat what has happened thus far. I just remember some of the same things were being said around here last year. I'm not a Pearl apologist. I think the "flex" offense is as basic as it gets, he hasn't recruited to his so-called system, lack of player development, etc. I'm just saying let the season play out. I will more surprised if Pearl survives & remains UT's HC when the AA is finished.
