ESPNews reports free agent QB Kerry Collins (Raiders) will be in Nashville Thursday evening, July 27, and Friday July 28. He will take a physical for the Tennessee Titans and if he passes, he is "expected" to sign a contract with the team.

actually Collins was a know show for his physical.
The Titans made the mistake of scheduling it during Happy Hour.

I think this is really good for the Titans, getting another Vet QB. If they are in the hunt for the playoffs and Volek goes down, you don't want to see Vince Young thrown into the fire. Instead have a QB who has been to a superbowl step in and take over. However, if the Titans are not in the hunt for the playoffs and have a record of 2-6 or something, don't be surprised to see VY running the show by the end of the season

You don't have to worry about the Titans being in the playoff race.
