I know it's a little early for a thread on this game, but this ain't no gimme for Deion and crew. NDSU is a heck of a program.

It would be pretty dang interesting to see Colorado lose to an FCS school right out of the gate, even if it is the top dog in FCS schools.

I agree, NDSU is no cupcake. Could be interesting. I’d love to see them come into Boulder and win.

I expect a loss tbh. They're breaking in two new coordinaters and 5 new coaches total after one year at Colorado. That should tell you guys something. Neon demoted his best coach (Sean Lewis) for no apparent reason last year in which resulted in the loss of nearly half of their ppg. The only bright spot was the offense under Lewis control and he destroyed it. That's how you know Neon will not succeed. Let's see how well his son does now that the guru isn't there to dial in his play calling.

definitely a clash of program styles.

NDSU is all about building up players, and developing a team first approach.
Colorado is all about flash, getting developed guys, and focusing on star power instead of team.

NDSU will play team football. While a couple of elite athletes can come through against any opponent, the Buffs will probably not be as well-coached.
I expect a close game.

Colorado will beat the brakes off of them. Then the media will be saying how great they are and start up the hype train just like they did last year when they beat TCU.
