I wish I was surprised. He had a lot of issues growing up and those around him were dumfounded he even went to college. Freakish stud of an athlete. But one with serious baggage and immaturity. We call it "falling off the cliff...harris" syndrome.

hate to hear that but kinda wish he would have done this a few weeks ago and taken about 90% of his offense with him, even if it were just for the TN game

Tons of talent, hate to see him squander it.

That Mundt kid is gonna be a star though.

I'm sorry to hear that. Best of luck to the young man.

They spend their whole lives being worshiped and praised that many of them feel invisible.

not so sure about it in this case.

Oregon's Colt Lyerla, with help of Hillsboro Spartans family, overcomes childhood trials | OregonLive.com

Despite his on-field prowess, Lyerla remained extremely humble. He rarely bragged or talked trash. He didn't seek attention. He just played. Sometimes coaches had to push him to assert himself.

Lyerla's parents, Tammy and Roger Lyerla faced legal and financial troubles. Lyerla spent time living in both households after his parents divorced in 2001.

Lyerla's world became more complicated when his father disappeared.

while he is an adult and he is responsible for his actions, his parents really dropped the ball in raising him. As long as he cleans himself up, ill be cheering for him
